That’s right. Actual people now have copies of LUMINOSITY (the eARC) to review. This is very scary to me. I am excited, anxious, scared, excited, scared, excited, excited and scared. I think that accurately sums it up!
To those of you who have the eARCs, I hope you love it, and happy reading! And for those of you who are waiting patiently for the book release, we have less than a month to go now! Wooooo!
If you are a reviewer and would like to request an eARC, please contact my publicist, Jaime, at jaime (at) entangledpublishing (dot) com. 🙂
For your viewing pleasure! Tell me what you think! 😀
Also, the new Raven Chronicles facebook page is here:

That’s right! We’re almost down to about a month. I couldn’t be any more excited than I am now. I’ve been super busy getting things ready for this, but I didn’t want you to think I’ve fallen off the face of the Earth.
We have lots of awesome things coming up, including blog tours, contests, a trailer reveal (on October 4th), and more! So, stay tuned here, or on my twitter (@stephthomasbook) or my website for chances to win e-ARCs and Luminosity swag. 🙂
About CONJURE: Be careful what you search for…
Emma Guthrie expects this summer to be like any other in the South Carolina Lowcountry–hot and steamy with plenty of beach time alongside her best friend and secret crush, Cooper Beaumont, and Emma’s ever-present twin brother, Jack. But then a mysterious eighteenth-century message in a bottle surfaces, revealing a hidden pirate bounty. Lured by the adventure, the trio discovers the treasure and unwittingly unleashes an ancient Gullah curse that attacks Jack with the wicked flesh-eating Creep and promises to steal Cooper’s soul on his approaching sixteenth birthday.
When a strange girl appears, bent on revenge; demon dogs become a threat; and Jack turns into a walking skeleton; Emma has no choice but to learn hoodoo magic to undo the hex, all before summer—and her friends–are lost forever.
Lea is pretty awesome and a writer friend of mine, so if you have a chance to check out her webpage and stuff, go do it! It’ll be worth it, I promise. 🙂
I am happy to announce that I finished my first draft of EVANESCENCE this week. Yay! I know this probably isn’t very exciting for you, because you’ve yet to read LUMINOSITY, but it’s super exciting for me! I only wish I could share some of it with you — but it would make no sense, and would probably ruin all sorts of goodies in the first book, so you’ll have to be patient and wait. Forever. Well. Maybe not forever, but for a while anyways.
I know I’ve been saying that I’m going to run another contest soon, and I will. I just want to find something really creative and fun to do. I have a pretty feather necklace to give away and some LUMINOSITY swag that wants a new home.
Ooh, and I have a blog tour that is being put together as we speak, which is exciting! November is getting closer and closer, and soon you’ll all have a copy of LUMINOSITY all to yourselves! I know you just can’t wait — I can’t either. It’s still sort of surreal for me to think about, but I’m so glad it is happening. It will only be real to me when I am actually holding the book in my hands. I just can’t imagine it right now.
I have a countdown on my website, so go check it out and obsess about it like I do! 🙂
I recently stopped by Niahara’s World of Books to give an author interview. Check it out here!
Thank you for the opportunity! It was a fun interview! 🙂
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I thought I’d fill everyone in on what’s happening with LUMINOSITY right now. I finished my third pass on the manuscript, and I will go there and say that it is FREAKING AWESOME. I can’t believe how far it’s come since it’s first pass, and I’m very proud of it and my editor, Kerry Vail, who has been so helpful and patient with me. It’s been a great ride, and I can’t believe that it’s almost done, and LUMINOSITY will be ready for the masses!
I’ve been working on it’s sequel, EVANESCENCE, which has been a blast and a pain in the butt at the same time. Sequels are not easy to write! But, it’s fun seeing how far my characters have grown. I really wish I could say more about it, but then I’d probably stupidly say some spoiler-y stuff and destroy it for everyone! And then no one would buy it, and what fun would that be? So, if you want to know more about EVANESCENCE, sometimes I post little snippets of my work in progress on my twitter feed, and you can watch out for some juicy glimpses of the book there.
I hope everyone is doing well! I am going to put together a contest soon to give away some more LUMINOSITY stuff, so check back here to see what is going on!
